Buddha Jewelry Pendants
Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.
Gautama Buddha’s teaching is about our spiritual life, love, and affection. As awakened one, Buddha’s biography has its mystery, deep philosophy, and miracles. Buddha is known for his supernatural abilities and the ability to "suppress karma".
His philosophical views on life are sophisticated and simple at the same time. He teaches us to love, to care about others, to learn finding a peace in ourselves. He teaches how to understand ourselves better and how it is important to have a positive mindset.
According to him a positive mindset guides us in life. “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world.” “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
Buddha’s philosophy so popular and applicable to any situation we encounter in our lives. He teaches us to keep our bodies in good health, since it will keep our mind strong and clear; and that we should choose words carefully, as people can be influenced by them for good or ill.
During his life Buddha discovered three truths. Once he was enjoying a beautiful and peaceful day. Sun was shining and flowers were blossoming. Suddenly, he saw how one creature killed another. He asked himself why must one creature must eat another to live? Thinking about it, he finds out that nothing is lost in the universe that matter turns into energy, and energy into matter.
The first Buddha’s truth is that nothing is lost in the universe. We are the same as everything, as other people, animals, and nature. If we destroy something around us, we destroy ourselves. The second Buddha’s truth is that everything changes. As soon as we think we are safe, something unexpected happens. Buddha compared life to a river, which is flowing on and on. It is smooth and gentle in some places, but later on snags and rocks crop up out of nowhere. The third universal truth explained by the Buddha as Karma that there is a continuous change due to the law of cause and effect. The Buddha said, "The kind of seed sown will produce that kind of fruit. Those who do good will reap good results. Those who do evil will reap evil results. If you carefully plant a good seed, You will joyfully gather good fruit."
Nothing ever happens to us unless we deserved it. We receive exactly what we earn. We are the way we are now due to the things we have done in the past. Our thoughts and actions determine the kind of life we can have. If we do good things, in the future good things will happen to us. Right understanding of Karma will lead us to a greater future.
Nowadays it is very popular to wear amulets, which have a depiction of Buddha on them. They are considered as lucky charms, and made from precious metals, as gold, silver, and platinum. The images of Buddha are engraved in various designs such as Buddha meditating or a blessing pendant. Believers of Buddhism are attached to the Buddha pendant, because of harmony and protection. Wearing Buddha amulets wade off evils charms and dangers.
Buddha pendant is a great gift idea for non-Buddhists as well, for people who inspired by its philosophy. It attracts luck, wealth, and health, and enhance spirituality.
